The traditional Bengali sweets of Misti Doi (sweet curd) and Mango Sandesh - was delicious and presentable. From the 7yr to the 70 years wanted more and more of this delicious sweets. "I try to do something special every year for husband's birthday. This year the attempt was with the help of Sharmistha Roy. My husband craves for authentic vegetarian Bengali food and unfortunately cooking is not my strongest side. So wanted treat him to some good food, the kind of good food that he likes. But the bigger challenge was to also cater to a group of friends and guests who were primarily non vegetarians. Sharmishtha's eyes to details is amazing. Right from taking the order to sending written confirmation she was spot on. On the day, the delivery, the presentation and even making sure that the chaat masala was just right on the 'mochar chop'. The spices were just right which meant that it was perfect for both adults and children. The portions were extremely generous. This is something that most caterers fail upon. Her 'dhokar dalna' reminded me of my grandma's cooking. Her 'Phool kopi' tikka masala was an absolute delight. Her ' malai chomchom' was delicious. Just enough sweetness and heavenly. What did my guests think of This? My guests were blown away. No one could believe that vegetarian cooking without onion and garlic can actually taste so good and heavenly. Highly recommend her. You will not be dissapointed. Very few caterers out there will give you such amazingly tasty vegetarian food with so much originality and flavour."
